Some feedback please!!

By: Jan | November 3rd, 2008

Hi all, I’ve been posting stuff on the Eredivisie here for a month or so, and I’m overwhelmed with the number of comments and great discussions :-) .

I just wanted to get some feedback here… I know there’s hundreds page views on this blog, but apparently by very shy and unopinioned people…

So, here goes:

1. Do you enjoy the type of articles on here?
2. Would you like to see different subjects or angles on the Eredivisie shenanigans?
3. How can we get some action on this blog?!

Please share your thoughts with me :-) !

Going to the Arsenal game? Find out how to get to North London and where to stay near Emirates Stadium.

Jan – if you are looking for feedback, well feedback you will get jajaja

My mates and I are big fans of the Eredivisie (I just won’t say which club I follow) and think your posts are great.

But if you want action, we’ll all drop by for a bit of trouble : )

Jan, I will comment more often here. All eredivisie talk is great to hear. I think more people will comment if other people are commenting. Kinda of a chicken and egg thing. Also, do you know what happened to Matt from the ajax offside page. he has been gone for over a month. Missing reports on lots of ajax action.

    Hi

I found this site by accident let’s say but I was quite surprised that I found decent site where I can read news and thoughts on Dutch Championship.

Articles are not so long and that is good because you need only couple minutes to read them and stay informed.

    Keep with good work.

Thanks guys!! That’s just great. Love to hear your thoughts… It’s so quiet otherwise. I know 1000s watch this space every month, so writing here sometimes is like you’re walking in a city where you see no one. But you know there’s 1000s of people, hiding behind the curtains :-) .

Anyway: I don’t know where Matt is, to be honest. I will try to cover a bit for him. There’s also news on our sister blog (I write there as well), which is the Netherlands blog (see link on this page, in the right upper corner). We discuss Oranje and our international stars there. Just published a great interview with PSV’s Danny Koevermans.

Let’s get this forum awake, ok?

I will start some more interactive posts.

    Great to read your comments…

Jan, place a permanent link to this page on your world cup page. Maybe that will help. And I have to say that while Ajax did play counter-attack football v. twente, they really had no choice as they had about 5 starters out, incl. their top 2 attackers Suarez and Sulejamni. Once they field a full team, I think (hope) we’ll see some more attractive football b/c Twente game was quite a negative apprraoch and very boring. Although I still think they need a playmaking mf–is Aissati the answer?–he’s out injured, too..

I know entire leagues that play counter-attack football, so I will not be insulted that Ajax did it for a match. It worked, right? And nobody else got hurt, right? Uh… well, sometimes you just need points.

And, I am back. Thanks for picking up the slack like a champ.
